They chant praises, glorify His name, and do not depart until peace fills their hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the most virtuous deeds recommended on this day is giving <\/span><b>Sadaqah<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Sadaqah on the Day of Arafah is unlike giving on any other day\u2014rewards are multiplied and recorded as provisions for the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of benefit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Scholars have stated that whoever combines fasting, remembrance of Allah, Sadaqah, and supplication on this day has attained all goodness, by the will of Allah. So why would we not rush to such immense reward\u2014by relieving someone&#8217;s hardship, bringing joy to an orphan, or feeding the hungry\u2014while hoping for divine mercy that wipes away sins and transforms misdeeds into good?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>The Ruling on Sadaqah on the Day of Arafah<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">As for its ruling, offering Sadaqah on the Day of Arafah is among the highly recommended acts of worship in Islam. Sadaqah has a remarkable effect on the giver in both this life and the Hereafter: it expiates sins, erases mistakes, elevates ranks, and brings great rewards. Furthermore, it shields from calamities and heals illnesses. All these benefits are amplified on the Day of Arafah, when righteous deeds are multiplied more than on any other day<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">hardships, and elevating ranks. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;There are no days during which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days&#8230;&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Reported by al-Tirmidhi).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">The greatest of these days is the Day of Arafah, the most honored and virtuous. Acts performed on this day bring multiplied rewards. It is not confined to a specific amount or time. Whatever is given sincerely from a lawful source brings blessing and can relieve someone&#8217;s hunger or thirst, or ease a hardship that has long burdened them. Among all forms of giving, <\/span><b>Sadaqah Jariyah<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ongoing Sadaqah) holds a special place, offering continuous benefit until the Day of Judgment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhen a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing Sadaqah, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Can Sadaqah on the Day of Arafah Be Sent Abroad?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">According to the website of the late scholar Sheikh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him), there is no prohibition on sending Sadaqah to another country, particularly if the need is greater or the situation more severe there. While local beneficiaries have priority, it is permissible to support others elsewhere if the benefit is substantial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Hence, sending Sadaqah on the Day of Arafah to areas in dire need is not only permissible, but may close critical gaps and relieve pressing hardships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Giving Sadaqah to Support Students in Syria<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">As the Day of Arafah nears, families in northern Syria continue to suffer from the effects of prolonged conflict. Among the most affected groups are students, due to the destruction of educational infrastructure.
